Product Introduction
Dense Phase Stabilizer, also known as dense phase air supplement stabilizer or dense phase check valve, is a core supporting equipment for dense phase pneumatic conveying system, commonly matched with bin pump conveying pipelines. It automatically supplies air on demand by sensing pressure difference to break material plugs and maintain stable dense-phase conveying. Meanwhile, it has a one-way non-return function to prevent powder backflow into air source pipeline and protect air compressors and gas storage equipment. With all-mechanical structure, no electric control required, it can resist high temperature and dust, ensuring stable operation. It greatly reduces pipe blockage risk in powder conveying, saves compressed air and lowers pipeline abrasion. It is an ideal accessory for power plant ash removal, cement and metallurgical powder conveying.
Key Features
✅ Mechanically driven by pressure difference, no electric control required, low failure rate
✅ Automatic on-demand air supply to break material plugs and effectively prevent pipeline blockage
✅ Integrated one-way non-return function to block powder backflow and protect air source equipment
✅ Stable solid-gas ratio, maintain low-velocity dense phase conveying and reduce pipeline wear
✅ On-demand air supply design, saves compressed air consumption compared with continuous air supply
✅ Wear-resistant cast steel / stainless steel body, equipped with wear-resistant spool and seals, durable in dusty environment
✅ Flexible installation, available for bin pump inlet or extended air supplement points on conveying pipeline
Working Principle
Powder is conveyed in material plug state in dense phase system, bringing large pipeline pressure fluctuation and high risk of blockage. The dense phase stabilizer operates automatically according to pressure difference on both sides of valve body:
1. Normal conveying: pipeline pressure is higher than air source side, valve closes to prevent material backflow.
2. Pressure rise & material plug accumulation: pressure difference triggers valve opening, a small amount of compressed air is automatically supplemented to break plugs and stabilize solid-gas ratio.
3. Pressure back to normal: valve closes automatically and stops air supply, avoiding high energy consumption caused by dilute phase conveying.
Installation Instructions
1. It can be installed at bin pump air inlet or along long-distance conveying pipeline as extended air supplement point.
2. The flow direction of valve body must follow the marked direction, reverse installation is forbidden.
3. Clean welding slag and debris in pipeline before installation to avoid scratch on internal seals.
4. Check wear condition of spool and seals regularly. Periodic maintenance is recommended under dusty working conditions.
Application Scenarios
Dense Phase Stabilizers are mainly used in pneumatic conveying systems, especially in dense phase conveying, long-distance conveying, and abrasive material handling systems. They help stabilize the material flow inside the pipeline, reduce fluctuations, blockage, impact, and wear, and improve the overall operating stability and conveying efficiency of the system.
