In slurry, tailings, coal slurry and other particle-containing conveying systems, the branch and flow-intersection areas of a tee are often exposed to increased erosion and wear. UHMWPE helps reduce friction between the conveyed material and the pipe wall while providing wear protection in these critical areas.
